Driving after dark is a different skill. Glare from oncoming headlights, limited visibility, reflections and tiredness all change how you judge speed and distance. Night lessons let you practise these conditions with a certified instructor beside you in a dual-control car.
They are a useful way to build experience for your log book and to feel ready for real-world driving after sunset.
